Ford mondeo 2.2 tdci 2014 200bhp
As many know these are not the easiest cars to tune with the ecu been located behind the wheel liner on the front left corner. We went ahead and removed the ecu and found it had already been removed before with the ecu bracket not been there anymore when they usually are. We read the map and unknowingly to the customer it had already been mapped by the previous person that sold him the vehicle. He said to us that the car felt “underpowerd” now on a 200bhp vehicle we wonderd why? The file that was on there had a dpf and egr solution and what i can describe as a good attempt at a tune… for a 5 year old 😂 there was multiple maps missing, fuel was turned nearly to max and torque limiters missed 🤷♂️ i was very confident in that i could extract the correct bhp from this car with our custom tune, so we did exacly that! Safe to say that the customers text to me on his way home comfirmed that 😊 he was buzzin!!!
